Gateway Learning Community's Viki Reid was amongst a number of inspirational teachers invited to Number 10 to be honoured by the Prime Minister.  Mrs Reid was head at Herringham school and now works with Herringham, Lansdowne, Tilbury Pioneer and the Gateway Free school.

As the Chairman of the all Party Group on Gurkha welfare I welcomed the Government’s response to the Inquiry into Gurkha grievances.

Last week I took the Secretary of State for Health, Jeremy Hunt to Thurrock Lifestyle solutions in Grays. Jeremy was hugely inspired by what he saw at Thurrock Lifestyle Solutions, as I knew he would be. They deserve praise and credit for the innovation and passion they bring to delivering their service.
